Short version: GOM is a tool for your practice. Use it sincerely, treat your circle-mates with respect, and it will serve you well.
GOM ("the app") is a practice tracker for meditation and Vajrayana Buddhist practice, operated by Bosio Inc. ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Circles are shared practice spaces. When you post messages or share sessions in a circle:
You can report any message (long-press it) and block any member. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. Objectionable content and abusive users are not tolerated.
Everything you log — sessions, notes, teachings, messages — remains yours. You grant us only the license needed to store it and show it to the circles you choose to share it with. See the privacy policy for how data is handled.
The Scribe drafts entries from what you tell it or photograph; you confirm before anything is saved. It's a convenience, not an oracle — check its proposals before confirming, and don't rely on it for anything beyond logging your practice. It does not give spiritual, medical, or any other advice.
Core practice tracking is free. Some features (such as circles) may require a paid subscription, purchased through the App Store or Play Store and governed by their terms; manage or cancel in your store account settings. During the beta, promotional codes may grant free access — beta entitlements may change before public launch.
While GOM is distributed through TestFlight it is beta software: things may break, and although we take backups seriously, you should export your data (Settings → CSV) if its loss would matter to you.
GOM is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law. GOM is a logbook — it is not a substitute for a teacher, a sangha, or your own judgment.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use GOM after changes means you accept them.
